Pups and family

Went to Salinas over the weekend to visit family. My Grandma has bladder cancer, therefore the visit was bittersweet. It was nice to get to visit with my family. It was long over due. I was very happy though that Michael got to meet my dad's side of the family and that he made a very good impression on them. :) We brought the pups as well. They were very well behaved. Talked to an adviser today, should be graduating next may. We are trying to figure out what to do for Christmas. Big Bear is a consideration.

holy moly

I have not posted on here in so long! I feel like this year has flown by! They even started playing christmas movies on TV. Many things have happened lately. Michael and I now have two lovable dogs, Koby and Milo.
We are planing on buying a home in the immediate furture, which I am looking forward to! I found a job back in May and I am still completely happy with it! I am a sales associate at lens crafters, where we can make your glasses in an hour! I love it back I am able to make pretty good money as well as help people.

I switched my major to Psychology. I feel relived about it change because finally I am working towards finishing my degree. Michael is currently taking a course up in 29 Palms, aka the desert! It's like a leadship training course. He has another 3 weeks there and then he should be back home. We are anxiously waiting to hear back from Michael's MECEP package to see if he is going to be able to be an officer in the United States Marine Corps! Michael just had a birthday on Monday and we went to Vegas the weekend before. I LOVE Vegas and I definitely look forward to going again! Well thats all for now!

title change

Ok so I decided that it would be appropriate to change the title of my blogity blog because I'm the only one writing it (I originally made it so both Mike and I can post on it while he was on his last deployment in Iraq). I chose "it's not me, it's you" because lately I have been become very aware of certain things I do when I get in arguments or fights with people (its doesn't happen much, but when you live with someone who has the same level of stubborn-ness as me, it's not always happy-go-lucky all the time) I tend to play the victim as opposed to the one taking the blame. I guess its just a defense mechanism I use. So basically I am admitting to the fact that I am more likely to point the finger than to take the blame. Oh well. Thats just me. At least I am admitting it!

I also got the tag line from the new Lily Allen CD. It's such a good CD! It's definitely better than her debut album. I don't know why I waited so long to download the CD, oh yeah... it could be because I don't have internet! I haven't had internet/cable since JANUARY!!! It has been nice, but damn it I need cable and the interweb!!! Michael insisted on getting the AT&T U-verse and it takes a month to come and hook the service up... ugh... the date it set for March 13th.

Ok well... download Lily Allen if you never heard her!

peace

Zero

So lately I've been thinking that I really want to gage my ears. I figured that it would be my last bodily mutilation before career time! They are making more feminine ear plugs these days. So I think I may do it, at least up to a zero gage. Nothing too extreme. Ok..

Long time no post!

AHH!!! It's been sooo long since I have last posted. So much has been happening. Craziness! Mike came home from Iraq about a month early, big surprise! He got promoted
to Sergeant! We moved down to San Diego, now I don't have to drive 45 minutes to school and back! Mike started working with his new unit at Miramar! We have an adorable apartment! We got a puppy on Valentine's Day! He is a lab-boxer mix and the biggest lap dog I have ever had.

I am applying once again to the nursing program. Hopefully round two will work out for me. Everything in my life seems to be falling
into place. I have
been thinking of a different sort of career path lately... I've been thinking of becoming a navy officer. The only way you can be a nurse in the Navy is being an officer. Just a thought, I still have to talk to people. Anyway, that was just a quick update... More to come later!
